What Are Essential oils?
Essential oils are compounds extracted from plants through distillation or mechanical methods. These oils are highly concentrated and capture the plant's aroma and flavor. They have been used for thousands of years because of their incredible benefits.
Many ancient civilizations used them for medicine, therapeutic purposes, rituals, perfumes, food, and cosmetics.
Today, we can still benefit from this natural goodness.
Why do I use only essential oils as a scent in my soap?
Essential oils are natural ingredients.
I don't add unnecessary ingredients to my soaps, especially synthetic fragrances that can cause irritation, dryness, or allergic reactions. When we use artificial fragrances, we expose ourselves to chemicals that can be absorbed by our skin and transferred into our bodies. My natural soaps are free of any harmful ingredients.
Essential oils add additional properties to the skin.
Essential oils offer endless benefits. They provide antioxidants and have a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. They also help reduce redness and swelling. In soap, essential oils increase moisturizing properties and can prevent premature skin aging. Moreover, oils such as tea tree or peppermint have antibacterial properties, making the skin extra clean without causing irritation.
Essential oils are used in aromatherapy.
And let's not forget the aromatherapeutic benefits of essential oils, which can soothe your soul during your daily showers. For example, lavender essential oil is known for its calming properties and can help promote relaxation and restful sleep.
All of my soaps are gently scented. I worked really hard to create original scents and felt like I wanted more, so I made my own line of essential oil blends that match my soaps. You can add a few drops to your bath or shower. You can use them separately or as a set with the soaps.
